European Fat Burning Breakthrough Burns 52% More Calories - Articles Surfing

Now you can lose up to 212 lbs just like Barbara Richter did.

Who would ever believe that you could lose that much weight simply by.... walking? I certainly wouldn't. In fact I still find it somewhat hard to believe, but the facts speak for themselves.

Put simply, the Europeans have proven that it's easy to blast away fat faster by walking. But wait, before you think this is some kind of marathon walk, let me assure you it is ordinary walking. However, there is a slight twist. You will need to use a contraption. Nothing complicated or hi-tech, nor expensive. It's a simple Pole. Yes a walking pole. And walking with this pole burns up to 52% more calories than walking without it.

In Finland, Olympic skiers needing to keep in shape during summer months, use a special pole specifically designed for just this purpose. What these Walking Poles do is...

a:) Force you to engage more muscles as you walk, (thus burning more calories).
b:) Relieves pressure from your back, hips, knees, ankles and feet (making the walk less strenuous).

In a 2 year study conducted by Asher Health Labs, it was found that overweight people who got marginal results from "plain" regular walking really started to melt away the pounds after starting to use the Pole. Fat started to disappear not just from legs and thighs, but also from the arms, back, belly and neck.

The same study also found that "Pole Walking" was more effective than jogging. Over a 10 week period, pole-walkers lost on average 8lbs and 6 inches more than joggers.

One participant who was ordered to lose weight by her doctor or else face the rest of her life in a wheel chair, swore she could do everything to lose weight, but walk. See, 34 years of obesity had taken its toll on her joints and she suffered terribly from bad ankles. With no option but to lose it, she succumb to the test and amazingly found that the Pole definitely made walking possible. So much so that she eventually dropped 212 lbs. "The Pole just takes so much stress off the joints" she commented, "and each day I could go just a bit further."

Mind you this did not happen overnight. "It took the better part of 21 months but I don't believe I could have done it with dieting alone," she added.

Another participant struggled for years to get rid of her tummy fat but just could not lose that last 12 lbs. Doing sit-ups 3 times a week did nothing for her except give her lower back pain. She volunteered for this test and was please to find herself with a perfectly flat and toned stomach in 25 days.

In my opinion, a walking pole is one of the best investments you could make in your weight loss or fitness program. With costs ranging from a low of $20 to a high of $200+ it's hard to go wrong. Of course you do NOT need an expensive designer model. I found the less expensive ones just as effective.

Seems, the pole also helps you maintain the perfect posture to bring into play other muscles and parts of your body which do not normally engage when walking without the poles. It also appears to be a lot safer than normal walking since the pole can help you maintain balance.

The conclusion of this study: Walking with a Pole can burn off 16lbs - 20lbs a month.
