Article Surfing ArchiveEvening Spent In Romantic Dinner Cruise - Articles SurfingAre you about to sweep your loved one off on an evening of romance? Yes, setting on a dinner cruise is a timeless way of showing how deeply you are into this person. Naturally though, you can't just hire a boat and a server and hope that things will turn out okay. This needs planning ' a strategic planning that can be likened to a game of chess. You should never play it by ear, if you are indeed planning on treating someone to an evening at a romantic dinner cruise. Here is a checklist for you to consider. Location Where exactly do you plan to take your partner? There are many cruises available, and of course, all of them have different rates. You can take one in nearby Florida, or as far away as Paris. Your chosen destination is your prerogative though, but you must remember that if you are planning on a dinner cruise somewhere far, far away ' you need to at least take your partner (and yourself) there first. Preferably, you can book a hotel room offshore if you only want one evening on a dinner cruise. However, this will pose as less of a problem if you are booking cruise trips for both of you. Your chosen location also dictates what cruise companies will be available. Only when you have actually chosen your destination can you choose which boat or vessel you can stay on and which romantic dinner package they have on board. The boat or vessel also dictates what the dress code for its passengers should be so you could look into that as well. Time and Duration You do have to choose the time and duration of your romantic cruise ' and for this, you should always book in advance. Do not even dare to hope that you can find a romantic seat in a crowded boat. The cruise crew needs to prepare things in advance for you and your partner. Also, you need to choose just how long your dinner cruise should go. A short dinner cruise is about an hour or so only ' and if you are planning a lot of activities within that hour, you better hasten your date through dinner (which, needless to say is not romantic at all.) The longer courses are about 3 to 4 hours. And within that span of time, you can both go through a series of activities together without feeling harassed or rushed. Menu and Entertainment The food being offered is limited to whatever fare the cruise vessel has to offer, but you can choose which courses to serve during your dinner. You can even specify what wine or desert to serve. If in the event you feel inadequate to the task, you can always ask for suggestions from the personnel in charge of your dinner cruise. As with the dinner selection, entertainment is also limited in such cruises, but you can ask for what you think will enhance your night, like a solo violinist or some time on the dance floor swaying to disco music.
