The Final Piece To Your Paradise - Articles Surfing

Ok you have the perfect swimming pool complete with a hot tub spa with all the possible amenities, you have the biggest grill in the neighborhood and the perfect outdoor kitchen for entertaining what else could you possible need well how about a sauna? Today's saunas can be ordered as complete kits that can be simply snapped together plugged in you are ready to enjoy a quiet relaxing sauna session or they can be custom built units that are incorporated into your pool house or inside your residence.

Many more options are available to day in saunas with advent of far infrared sauna technology the start up time has been reduced to zero and the electricity usage of an infrared sauna is much less that the typical sauna of the last century. The infrared waves of energy actually heats up your body with little effect on the atmosphere inside the sauna with this type of heat it is not necessary to heat the entire sauna room up to temperature.

Looking for a more traditional sauna like for your hunting lodge or in your ice fishing shanty? Well many companies produce a traditional wood burning sauna no electricity needed. Wood burning saunas do have some great advantages but may not be the best choice for installing in a residence first the wood burner will require a flue or chimney to vent the smoke to the outside so unless your house was originally constructed with an extra flue for the sauna the cost may be prohibitive also many people dislike the wood smoke and debris from the wood getting in he house.

The other choice in saunas is a gas fired sauna heater. Manufactures now make your choice of propane or natural gas fired sauna heater. Gas burning heaters are initially more expensive to purchase and install as you will need to hire a professional to run the gas lines to the sauna but the savings in energy usage will soon over come the initial stat up costs.

Whatever choice you make in sauna heaters be sure to purchase a good quality heater. The size of the sauna and the materials used to construct the sauna will determined the size or BTU's (British Thermal Unit) of the heater required. The location must also be considered in the equation. Do you live in a cold climate? Will your sauna be outside and do you plan on using it in the winter if you answer yes to these questions a larger more efficient heater will be necessary to enjoy a good sauna session without a long warm up period.
